smjCoincidenceCreator takes in a set of raw features and aligns them with another set of feature which are more permanent to make them coincident. It can be thought of as a post-processing tool for unvalidated data.

The purpose of this tool is to create a clean set of features closely aligning to the more permanent, stable boundaries. It can be useful for improving the rendering of fuzzy boundaries in map display and printing.

It makes use of the Intersect, Integrate and Smoothing algorithms from the ESRI Geoprocessing Toolset.

This toolbox is developd to work with the arcpy module from ArcGIS 10.0 and ArcGIS 10.1. It can easily be enhanced to work as a Geoprocessing Service through ArcGIS Server.

A set of clean line features is the output of the tool.

This is a tool for archiving and backing up file geodatabases.

The Windows inBuilt zip function does not work for file geodatabase and folders with special characters in the name.

The input parameters are a file geodatabase (.gdb extension) and a folder to store the zipped up file geodatabase.

An output zip file is created in this archive directory. It is the same name as the file geodatabase but also suffixed with the date of the day it is run.

See the attached tool documentation for more details.

This tool summarises attribute values by merging together identical geometries. This is useful when there are a bunch of spatally unique records each sharing the same geometry.

The summation of an numerical attribute field is calculated along with the frequency referring to the number of identical geometries.

Supported with Personal and File Geodatabases.

Tests the clustering of the distribution of features to features in another featureclass.

The first part of the process involves generating a catchment (buffer) zone served by the features. The variable featureclass takes the distribution of another featureclass and calculates the relationship to the catchment features.

The distribution of these features is classified into a clusterning scheme using the hotspots clustering tool from the Spatial Statistics Toolbox.

These tools provide support for New Zealand Vertical NZGeoid05.

These tools consist of a set of python scripts to convert between any of the 13 New Zealand MSL datums and NZGeoid05. They rely on an ArcGIS Desktop (Arcview level) license and access to a 3d Analyst license.

These tools use shapefiles and can be of either point, polyline or polygon type.

The NZGeoid05 model is available as an ascii grid for download at http://www.linz.govt.nz/core/surveysystem/geodeticinfo/datums-projections/verticaldatums/nzgeoid05/index.html.

Ensure the data is of the same spatial reference and in the extent of the model spatial extent.

I have also included a word document instruction guide and a sample NZGeoid05 vertical projection file. Support i9s for calculating both h and H,
